DeKalb Chamber Welcomes Five to Board of Directors
New board members to be installed at DeKalb Chamber 79th Annual Meeting
DECATUR, Ga., – Feb. 9, 2017 – The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce announces the appointment of five new members to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors. New board members will serve a three-year term.
“We are excited to welcome five new executives to our Board of Directors and look forward to their contributions to the Chamber,” said Katerina Taylor, DeKalb Chamber President and CEO.

The new board members will be installed during the Chamber’s 79th Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker Street NW in Atlanta.
MGM Resorts International President Bill Hornbuckle will serve as the keynote speaker. He will discuss MGM Resorts International and what a destination casino resort could mean for Georgia. If the Legislature and then voters approve the Constitutional Amendment, MGM Resorts has expressed interest in developing a truly unique resort in the Atlanta metropolitan area creating thousands of jobs and generating tens of millions of dollars in annual spending with local businesses.
