DECATUR, Ga., – Jan. 29, 2016 – The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce will present the inaugural DeKalb Economic Development Project of the Year Award at the Chamber’s 78th Annual Meeting & Business Luncheon on February 18. The award will recognize a major economic development project completed in DeKalb and its accomplishments in 2015.

The award will highlight development projects in mixed-use, brownfield, industrial, office developments, adaptive reuse or rehab projects, and resident projects (must include a commercial component). The project must have been completed in DeKalb County.

Entries must contain a written narrative describing the project and must state how the nominee meets the award criteria. Metrics and impact and investment data should be added to the narrative.
