WHAT IS THE CHAMBER YOUNG PROFESSIONALS?
The Young Professionals Program has been formed to provide the DeKalb young professionals with an opportunity to develop leadership skills, give back to the community and provide a forum for local executives and city leaders to educate and promote the growth of DeKalb County. The group is open to those 25 to 40 years of age that are interested in professional development, community issues, mentoring and networking.
The mission of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals program is to develop and empower, tenacious young professionals within the DeKalb County community through robust programming that trains members on how to implement strategic thinking, financial acumen, change leadership and time management in their journey to becoming powerful leaders within the DeKalb County Business community.
Our vision is to activate the power within each member by engaging members in activities that encourage and build leadership, civic and public speaking skills.
The Young Professionals Program seeks to:
- Support DeKalb Chamber initiatives
- Build your professional network with the DeKalb business community
- Provide you with community service/leadership opportunities
- And, help prepare you for your career goals through programming.
